Welcome to our first lesson: present continuous.

FORMA AFIRMATIVA

ESTRUCTURA:

SUJETO + VERBO TO BE (AM, IS, ARE) + VERBO TERMINADO EN ING.

POR EJEMPLO:

• I AM WORKING + (COMPLEMENTO)

• YOU ARE WORKING + (COMPLEMENTO)

• SHE IS WORKING + (COMPLEMENTO)

• THEY ARE WORKING + (COMPLEMENTO)

• WE ARE WORKING + (COMPLEMENTO)

Terminación en ing!

• Verbos terminados en consonantes: ing

• Algunos verbos terminados en n, m, o t: doblamos la consonante y agregamos ing.

• Verbos terminados en e: quitamos la e y agregamos ing.

Por ejemplo:

• Consonante: work, study, teach, play, walk, talk, feel. (agregamos ing)

• Algunos verbos terminados en N, M, y T: spin, swim, spit.

• Some verbs ending in ing: invite - inviting
