Basic Atomic Structure and the Periodic Table

2
Soon you are going to do some Lego Chemistry!
First let's go over some new information, and review what you've learned so far.
3
You need to know the difference of a molecule and a compound.
Here's a riddle, all compounds are molecules, but not all molecules are compounds!
4
A simple definition is that molecules are made up of at least two atoms of any elements, but a compound is made up of atoms from DIFFERENT elements.
5
This is a water molecule, because it has at least two atoms, but it is also a compound because it has two elements.
6
This is an ozone molecule. It is not a compound, because it is only made up of one element, oxygen.
7
Time for some review!
Get your whiteboard and marker.
Who can get the most points by answering the questions correctly?
