Style is the way a text is written.
There are two types of style : personal style and impersonal style.

Personal style
You would use a personal style for casual writing and to express personal feelings. For example when writing a diary or a friendly letter.

Impersonal style
You would use this style when writing a formal letter, when giving instructions or rules.
We use thirs person pronouns for impersonal style.
