What is an Atom?

An atom is the smallest unit of an Element.

3

What is a Periodic Table?

The periodic table is a tabular array of the chemical elements organized by atomic number, from the element with the lowest atomic number, hydrogen (1), to the element with the highest atomic number, oganesson (118).

12

What is an Atomic number and Atomic mass?

Atomic Mass :

Atomic mass is the mass of an atom.

Atomic Number :

It is the number of protons found in the nucleus of every atom of that element.

13

Examples of Atomic mass and number.

Look at this Element.

you can see 2 numbers at the top and the bottom and they are 3 and 6.941, at the top is the Atomic number (3) and 6.941 is the Atomic mass.
