Petroleum-introduction...😀
The word petroleum is derieved from the Greek word 'PETRA' meaning rock and 'OLEUM' meaning oil so petroleum means oil from rock..
Petroleum is the most refined form of oil and also it has many forms likes diesel,petrol,kerosene,natural gas etc. But petroleum is also very harmful for the earth and hence it is suggested to use it in less amount.

How petroleum is produced..
Petroleum like many other fuels is produced from rocks which are called sedimentry rocks which form due to decomposation of dead animals and plants also it is then dug out with the help of refinery machines...

More information about petrol...
As being the most refined fuel petroleum is used in many activities for example : Cooking ,Machinery, Vehicals etc.
But Now I will tell you some other uses other than the ones in the above examples..

Use of petroleum other than in cooking and machinery:
1. Transportation fuels
2. Fuel oils for generating heat and electricity.
3. Feed stocks [anther for of petroleum] is used for making plastic, chemicals and synthetic materials that are nearly everything we use.
