TITLE --> Pick sth short and catchy that doesn't give much information about the story
Start with the sentence given or else you'll lose marks
If no sentence is given start by setting the scene of your story "It was a sunny day and Maria was walking. She was going to visit her sick grandma..."

Use Linking Words eg At first, afterwards, as soon as etc
Use adverbs and adjectives to make descriptions more vivid eg Slowly, Suddenly, a beautiful green forest, an ugly and terrifying monster
Show off your English by using as many past tenses as possible --> I was walking home when I heard John calling my name. He was running to catch up to me because I had forgotten my keys.
