Folktales

Folktales are stories.  Just like our personal narratives folktales have a series of events, but because they are imaginative they contain additional story elements.  Folktales are fiction so they contain the same story elements and structure as other made up stories.  Folktales have a setting, characters, problem, events, and a solution.

Hansel and Gretel

This is a folktale about a brother and sister named Hansel and Gretel. They love each other. They should help each other. Some brothers and sisters do not always get along like they should.
