DOMINANT TRAIT
* The trait that first appears or is visibly expressed in an organism.
Examples: dark hair, freckles, dimples
* The example shows capital A, capital letters are always Dominant over lower case a letters.
Examples: AA, Aa, or aa

RECESSIVE TRAIT
* Is present at the gene level but is masked and does not show itself in the organism.
* The example shows the two children on the left inherited the dominant trait T (taster) from their parents.
* The child on the right inherited the recessive trait tt (non-taster) from both parents
