Multiplication is commutative, the order of the factors doesn't change the product.

We multiply when we have a certain number of equal groups and are asked to find the total.
The product is greater than the largest factor.

A method of distributing of group of things into equal parts.
Division is the result of sharing equally.
The numbers used in division can not commutative.
The quotient is less than what you started with.
