*IN - dentro de / en

The ring is in my pocket

No se usa para expresiones como en la pared, en el techo, etc.

*ON - sobre / encima de

The phone is on the bed

Esta preposición se usa para expresiones como en la pared (on the wall) y en el techo (on ceiling)

*BEHIND - detrás de / atrás de

The lamps are behind the curtain

*NEXT TO - al lado de

My house is next to a big library

*UNDER - debajo de

There is a nice restaurant under that bridge

*IN FRONT OF - en frente de / delante de

My older brother is in front of the TV

*BETWEEN - en medio de - entre

The police station is between the bank and my sister’s house
