What is Expository Writing?
Expository writing is used to describe, explain, define, or otherwise inform a reader about a specific subject. It does not contain the writer’s opinion or unnecessary descriptive language. It is used to give or “expose” information on a topic. We use and see examples of expository writing in our everyday lives and we may not even recognize it.
