4. The 虽然…, 但 (是)…, 所以… construction

虽然打工更忙了，也更累了，但花自己挣的钱，心情愉快，所以学习的劲头也更大了。

虽然…, 但(是)…, 所以… The construction means “although…,still/yet…, therefore…

• It is a multi-conjoining sentence construction that incorporates two types of logic relations in one.

• The first part of the construction with connectives 虽然…, 但(是)… indicates adversative relation, and the second part with 所以… indicates causative relation.
