Safety and first aid
Safety is very important for everyone . We should , therefore , learn to obey safety rules . they may avoid you from accidents . Here are some safety measures :-

Safety measures while walking
1. Be careful and alert .
2. Always walk on footpath , and if no footpath then walk on right sice of the road .

While crossing the road
Cross the road at zebra crossing , wherever possible . If not , wait until the road is clear . First look at left , then right , then again left . Now cross the road if it is clear .

While playing
Play safe games .
Don't play with fire .
Don't play on road .

While riding in a bus
Don't get on or off a moving bus . It can cause an accident . Always wait for your turn in the queue .Don't lean out of the window of a moving bus .

While swimming
Do not go alone for swimming .
Use swimming costume or air filled tube .
Do not go near deep water .

Remember
Whenever you get a cut through a sharp object , first of all clean that part with dettol and then apply antiseptic cream on it .
Whenever you get burnt , apply Burnol and then cover the burnt part with some thick cotton cloth .
If there is internal injury , you should drink milk with turmeric and then use iodex on the affected part .

Some more safety measures :-
Do not play with sharp objects .
Never put your fingers in electric sockets .
Do not play with fire and crackers .
If someone falls down help him to get up .
If someone if bleeding , tie a tight bandage or call a doctor if needed or take himself to a hospital immediately .
Be away from medicines , consult doctor before medication .
Never put hard metals into your mouth . And keep your bathroom floor clean .
