The story of your leadership assessment

  • You were instructed to clean a classroom

  • You tell the students: "We are cleaning this classroom. You 5 will stack the chairs, you two cadets will sweep the floors and the rest of you clear off the tables"

  • You walk over to the cadets sweeping and you say "I like how you are working together, don't forget about the dust in the corner"

  • Suddenly a pile of 12 chairs falls and makes a loud crashing sound. Fortunately nobody is hurt. After ensuring everyone is safe, you say "for safety reasons lets make sure that the stacks of chairs consist of no more than 5 chairs."

  • You walk over to help the discouraged cadets in charge of stacking chairs

  • Your cadets finish cleaning the classroom to standard and you say: "Thank you for your help today, well done, I really appreciate it." Then you dismiss them.
