Reciprocal verbs and Reflexive verbs

Reciprocal verbs

Actions that require two or more people and the action is done to "each other".

Examples of Reciprocal Actions are:

• They hug each other

• We greet each other

• We kiss (each other) Although we usually in English just say we kiss, but it is understood that two people were involved.

The each other is communicated in putting "se" or "nos" in front of the conjugate verb.

• They hug each other = Ellos se abrazan

• We greet each other = Nos saludamos

• 
  

If there are two verbs the reciprocal verb might be second and would be in infinitive form.

• They like to hug = A ellos les gusta abrazarse

• We want to kiss = Queremos besarnos
