Clark International Airport, also known as CRK, is like a big hub where airplanes take off and land. They recently won a special award called the Routes Asia 2024 Award in the category for airports that have less than five million passengers. This award is like a big pat on the back for being really good at bringing in new flights and helping people travel.

The people who run the airport, called the officials, said they won this award because they did a great job in attracting new flights to their airport. Last year, they handled almost two million passengers, which is a huge increase compared to the year before. This shows that the airport is growing and becoming even better at what it does.

One cool thing they did was get five new airlines to start flying from their airport. Additionally, they added 13 new destinations, which are places you can fly to from their airport. These are Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Coron, Davao, General Santos, Iloilo and Puerto Princesa for domestic flights, and Bangkok, Cheongju, Hong Kong, Macau, Narita and Taipei for international flights. This means more options for travelers and more opportunities to explore different places.

The boss of the airport, Noel Manankil, said that everyone at the airport is really happy and proud to win this award. He thanked the whole team for working hard and making the airport better. He also said that they're committed to continuing to improve the airport and make it even easier for people to travel.
