Our Essential Questions

  • I can identify how changes in an environment negatively and positively impact organisms.

  • I can identify an ecosystem.

3

What is an ecosystem?

  • An ecosystem is all the living things that interact with each other in an area, whether they are living, or non-living.

  • Some examples of non-living things that support life in an ecosystem are light, air,

    soil, and water.

  • Living things are the organisms

(plants and animals) that use those resources.

5

What is a community?

  • All of the deer in a forrest are a population.

7

What are the life processes of the organisms?

  • They take in air, water, food, and light.
