In the Triassic period, 252-201 millions of years ago, the dinosaurs started to evolve. All the continents were united in one, Pangea, during the Triassic there was a massive extinction of many species like the Trilobite. In conclusion, the Triassic was more like the end of an era than the beginning because at the ending of the age before the Triassic, the Permian, the 70% of the land animals died and the 90% of the aquatic animals died too.
