Pronoun-Antecedent Agreement

The antecedent is the noun that the pronoun replaced.

The pronoun must agree with the antecedent in

- number (plural or singular)

- gender (masculine or feminine).

Pronoun-Antecedent Agreement

The girl rode her bike.

           Pronoun = her (singular, feminine)

           Antecedent = girl (singular, feminine)
