Solar system includes sun, moon, eight plannets, dwarf plannets and sometimes asteroids fall out of space into Eath's atmosphere. Friction with Earth's atmosphere burns them. They are seen as bright streaks in night sky. They are called meteors when they enter the Earth's atmosphere.

Comets

Comets are made up of ice and dust. It revolves around the Sun. The heat of the sun makes the comet release dust and gases. This gives the comet appearance of having a tail. Comet looks very beautiful.

Planets

Jupiter is the largest planet. Mercury is the smallest planet. Pluto is a dwarf planet. There is a order of planets. Let us read the order.

Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Neptune takes 165 years to complete revolution around the sun. It has an icy surface. A simple methd to remember the order is-My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Noodles. First letter is siilar to first letter of eight planets.

Indian Sattelites

Sattelites are artificial objects that orbit the Earth. Sattelites are used for weather forcasting, sending signals etc. Aaryabhatta was the first indian sattelite. Some other sattelites are-INSAT1A, INSAT4B, for DTH, EDUSAT for reaying educational T.V programs.
