Designer
This is who comes up with the idea of what we're making.
Makes the idea, how it works, mechanics, etc.
Sometimes comes up with the title and theme of the game(horror, adventure, etc.)
4
Artist
These are the ones who make the game look as it's supposed to.
Can be 2D or 3D focused.
2D focuses on coming up with ideas of what something will look like, 3D will make it in a visual design program.
Sometimes an artist will be just 2D focused, another 3D focused, but they can also deal with both
5
Programmer
You're able to play the game thanks to them.
Make source code that then gets added too by other programmers and members of the team.
Has the most focuses. AI, Graphics, Sounds, etc.
6
Level Designer

This can be done even when the game is incomplete or complete
Can do 2D or 3D levels, and can have different designers for different levels.
7
Sound Engineer
These are the members of the team who handle setting up voice acting recording.
They are the ones who will also add in music in the background if it is appropriate.
Sometimes, they will be making the background music, but most often it is an outside group doing this.
8
Tester
The people who judge how the game works and what needs to be fixed
They are the ones who find glitches big and small for a game, although the focus tends to be on game-breaking ones.
