The Earth is home to humans, animals, and plants. The Earth provides living things with air to breathe, food to eat, water to drink, resources to use, and even enjoyment. Natural resources are things found in nature that can be used by people. Things like sunlight, air, water, and animals are all natural resources in our environment.

The environment is everything around you. Everything living on Earth affects the environment, but humans affect the Earth’s environment the most. Sometimes human impact on the Earth is positive. While other times human impact on the environment is negative.

Earth
Earth is very good at recycling waste, but humans create more waste than the Earth can keep up with. Pollution is harmful to the land we live on, the air we breathe, and the water that we drink. Pollution is dangerous to everything living on Earth. This includes humans, animals, and plants.
