Dogs are one of the most loved animals in the world. They are one of the few domesticated animals that live and interact with humans every day.
BODY PARAGRAPH #1:
Dogs are great pets because they help with mental health. Veterans experience hallucinations, nightmares, and irritability. This is called Post traumatic stress disorder. Veterans who own dogs have seen an improvement in their symptoms. A Purdue University study says “We found that the group of veterans with service dogs had significantly lower levels of PTSD symptomology than those who did not have a service dog”. This shows that studies have shown that pets improve veterans life's.
CONCLUSION: Dogs significantly change the life's of humans everyday. Dogs are great pets because they help with mental health, they encourage you to exercise, and they also protect you. Overall, getting a dog is a big responsibility, but it has many great benefits.
