So what is a target audience?

your target audience is the person or group of people that the final product will be aimed towards

it is important to understand your audience before you can plan a project for them.

A target audience can be categorised in the following ways

Gender

Age

Income

Ethnicity

Location

Accessibility

Age could be specific to a certain age group

  • How would you plan for children?

  • What would appeal to teenagers?

  • What about adults?

  • What about elderly people?
