• Predicate - öeldis. The gift was bought by Kelly.

• Object - sihitis. The gift was bought by Kelly.

The present simple passive - lihtolevik

am / is / are + past participle (tegusõna 3.põhivorm)

Carrots are grown in Estonia.

Are carrots grown in Estonia?

Oranges aren't grown in Estonia.

The past simple passive - lihtminevik

was / were + past participle

• This shopping centre was opened in 2016.

• Was this shopping centre opened in 2016?

• It wasn't opened in 2016.

The future simple passive - tulevik

will be + past participle

• Cake will be made tonight.

• Will the cake be made tonight?

• The cake won't be made tonight.

The present continuous passive - kestev olevik

am / is / are being + past participle

• The flower beds are being made now.

• Are the flower beds being made now?

• The flower beds aren't being made now.

The present perfect passive - täisminevik

have / has been + past participle

• This cheese has been made here for 10 years.

• Has this cheese been made here for 10 years?

• This cheese hasn't been made here for 10 years.
