PER GALLON is the magic word. The miles driven depends on how much gas is used. Gallon is the "X".
so the domain would be how much gas you use. 0 gallons all the way to 25 gallon

the "Y" values
In "miles per gallon" the "Y" is the miles
Miles depend on how much gas you use
So Range would be how many miles you can drive
If you use 0 gallons, you drive 0 miles
If you use all 25 gallons, then you could drive a max of 500 miles.
