Success criteria
Pupils can rewrite the correct sentences with the correct order of adjectives in the wrong ones. (Activity 1)
Pupils can read and decide if the statements are T (True) or F (False). (Activity 2)
Pupils can complete the example review and complete it with the adjectives in brackets in the correct order. (Activity 3)
Pupils can complete the plan for the example review with the descriptions. (Activity 4)
Pupils can identify the positivity and negativity of useful expressions. (Activity 5)
Pupils can write a review of the restaurant for their school magazine. (Activity 6)

Learning focus
When you have two or more adjectives before a noun, remember to put them in this order: opinion, size, age, shape, colour, origin, material and purpose (OSASCOMP).
When you have two adjectives of the same kind before a noun, put and between them and put them in alphabetical order (black and white).

- It is good idea to use lots of different vocabulary in your writing to make it more interesting.
- When you are planning in the exam, think about the words you can use to describe people, places or things.
