Biodiversity - the variety of living things in a given place
DNA - the material that carries all the information about how a living thing will look and function
Ecological Biodiversity - the variety of ways that species interact with each other and their environment
ecosystem - All of the living and nonliving things that interact in an area
environment - the setting or habitat in which organisms live

Genetic Biodiversity - the variation of genes that exist within a species
population - All members of one species in a particular area that interact with one another
species - A group of individuals that have common characteristics and can breed with each other
Species Biodiversity - the number of different species and the abundance of each species that live in a particular area
Sustainability - the use of resources in such a way that they will continue to be available in the future
