• Statistical Question: Can be answered with data and the data collected will vary.

• Population: The entire group you are collecting data about.

• Sample: Part of the population that is chosen to represent the entire group

• Random Sample: When every individual has an equal chance of being selected.

• Biased Sample: When a sample does not accurately represent the population.
