An interjection is a word or expression that occurs as an utterance on its own and expresses a spontaneous feeling or reaction.
Examples: Ahh! Hmm. Uh. Yay! Oh no. Ew. Stop!
Strong interjections have an exclamation point!
Mild interjections have a comma, or period.
