Part 1

  • The verb ir means to go.

  • It is an irregular verb and is different from our -ir verb endings.

  • It is almost always followed by a. If the noun following the “a” is masculine singular (el), the “a” and the “el” must combine to form al.

  • Ella va al parque = She goes to the park.
