Countable nouns - policzalne rzeczowniki
mają liczbę pojedynczą i mnogą: an apple - apples
używamy z nimi czasowników is/are w zależności od liczby rzeczownika:
Apples are red.
Pear is tasty.
generalnie z pożywienia policzalne to warzywa i owoce
roll - bułka, to w liczbie mnogiej - rolls

Uncountable nouns - niepoliczalne to:
płyny: milk, water, lemonade, tea, coffee
produkty sypkie: salt, sand, rice, sugar, pasta, flour
meat, czyli mięso: beef, pork, chicken, ham
inne pożywienie. które musisz pokroić, aby zjeść w cywilizowany sposób: meat, cheese, bread
pojęcia abstrakcyjne: work, health, happiness, information, truth,
money, luggage ( bagaż), news, furniture, iron
zawsze używamy czasownika w liczbie pojedynczej:
Milk is good for your health.
