Rounding Off Decimals

Rounding off Decimals is very similar to rounding off whole numbers. Frist we are rounding off to the nearest Tenth 🤗 

E.g. 1)
33.45
33.45 --> We look at the hundredths when we are rounding off to the nearest tenths. (Is it greater than 5) YES! so we round UP

 $\approx$  33.5 

Examples

E.g. 2)

84.23 --> The hundredths is below 5. So we round down.

Our answer will be 84.2

Eg. 3)

87.56 --> The hundredths is above 5 so we round up.

Our answer will be 87.6
