The table shows the cost of the weekend tickets to the Slide and Splash Water Park. Find a pattern between the number of tickets, n, and the cost, c, of the tickets. How much would 6 tickets cost?

• Find the price of one ticket, p, when 3 tickets cost $16.50.

One ticket coast $5.50. Check the cost for 4 and 5 tickets.

$5.50 Checks for 4 and 5 tickets.

State the rule:

The total cost, c, is $5.50 times the number of tickets, n.

Write the equation:

c = $5.50 (n), or c = 5.5n
