Traffic problems

1. Roads can become overcrowded, causing traffic jams. This is called congestion.

2. Fumes from traffic can cause air pollution which reduces the quality of air that we breathe.

3. Lots of ehaust fumes and car noise make the environment really unpleasant.

4. If there is a lot of traffic it can be difficult for vehicles to park.

AIR POLLUTION

Fumes from motor vehicles contain:

1). Soot which dirties buildings and damages the lungs of people who breathe it in.

2). carbon monoxide- A gas that prevents oxygen being taken into the body .

3). Nitrogen oxides -gases that help to cause acid rain and also global warming that traps sun's heat.
