Pullman Strike:

  • Strike: Work stoppages aimed at hurting to boss in the pockets because nothing is being produced

  • The Pullman Palace Railcar Company went on strike because the owner cut their wages. The owner did not reduce the price of rent, though.

  • No Problem, the company just hired some more workers and kept it moving because the President of the United States said this striking was wrong because it stopped the mail services.
