Lesson Objectives

• Students are able to use the sine rule to find unknown angles and sides in triangles that are right-angled

• Students are able to use the sine rule to find unknown angles and sides in triangles that are not right-angled

What is sine rules ?

Sine Rule very useful for solving triangles. Specially when we have two sides and angle opposite one of two sides or two angles and a side.

FORMULA of SINE RULES

 $\frac{\sin A}{a}=\frac{\sin B}{b}=\frac{\sin C}{c}$  

In words, we can say that the sine of an angle over the opposite sides of the angle is equals to sine of another angle over the opposite side of the angle.
