• OCE: do you express your ideas clearly with details and examples and without the examiners support?

• Language (voc and grammar):

  do you make mistakes? do you use a VARIETY of words and grammar structures? do you use linking words?

• Delivery: do you speak at a reasonable rate without any long pauses? do your voice, intonation and stress of words create misunderstandings?

• 30 minutes

• Use a soft pencil ONLY

• Your handwriting must be readable

• Darken the circle (email/letter or essay) on the answer sheet

Scoring criteria (1-5)

• Content: is your answer too short/long? did you use details and examples to support your arguments?

• Organization and connection of ideas: is your essay/email well-organized? did you use linking words?

• Language: did you make any mistakes (spealling, punctuation, grammar, syntax)? did you use a variety of words and gramamrtical structures?

• Communicative effect: did you use appropriate style (fomral/informal)? did you take the purpose of writing into account?
