Young Authors is a Writing Period!

It's one hour every day, where the class will focus on writing.

It's a time to be creative and grow as a writer!

You have a lot of freedom

• However, we need to focus on spelling, grammar, and organization when writing.

• Since we have A WHOLE HOUR, you should be writing longer pieces.

A moment for complaints:

If you are going to complain about the writing period, do it right now.

After this, I do not want to hear your complaints.

There are two main concerns for our writing

• The Quantity

• How much are we writing? Are we writing enough?

• The Quality

• Are we using correct grammar and spelling? Does our story make sense? Are we using punctuation?

Today we're going to do a warm up
