Containers and Quantities
Los contenedores y las cantidades, se utilizan para los sustantivos que no podemos contar.
Al utilizar el siguiente vocabulario, me permitirá expresar la cantidad de cosas o alimentos que hay dentro de un contenedor o por cantidad. Ejemplo: There is a bottle of milk.

Es esta imagen vemos dos bolsas de azúcar.
Vamos a ocupar el "THERE IS" para una sola cosa y "THERE ARE" para más de una.
Al utilizar los contenedores estos ya pueden contarse aunque el producto por si solo no se puede contar. Ejemplo:
There are two bags of sugar.

Quantities
Las cantidades me permiten expresar cuanto hay. Por kilo, rebanada, racimo o pieza. Ejemplo:
Theres is a bunch of bananas.
Hay un racimo de plátanos.
Si me preguntarán cuantos plátanos hay. No contaría uno por uno. Sino por el racimo.
