Ratio

A ratio is a comparison of two numbers by division. You can write the ratio of a to b as $\frac{a}{b}$ , a:b, or a to b.

How to write ratios

There are 3 ways to write ratios:
-Fraction Form: $\frac{3}{5}$  


-Colon Form:     3:5


-Word Form:     3 to 5
