  • Topic sentence: Acknowledge one argument that the opposition can make then give a stronger argument. I understand that the other side says this, but I am a stronger point because of this (your 4th reason).

  • Evidence/Direct quote: A piece of evidence that proves your 4th reason. Remember it needs to be a literary device.

  • Analysis: Why is your point stronger than the counterargument? Needs to be at least two sentences.

  • In your analysis explain how the literary devices show who is to blame.

  • To cite evidence (Shakespeare, Act. Scene)

  • Use formal language. No, I think or I believe. It should be in the third person.

  • Send Ms. Diaz an email of a baby animal to get one extra credit point on this assignment. Only available 03/30/21 or before this date.
