Singular v. Plural

A noun (person, place, or thing) can either be singular or plural.

Singular means that there is just one of that noun.

Plural means that there's more than one.

Regular v. Irregular Plurals

Most plural nouns are regular, which means they end in "-s."


Some plural nouns are irregular, which means

they don't follow this rule!
