The Truth Is
The truth is that we control our feelings of anger and our actions. Others don't have the power to make us mad, it is our choice to become angry with a situation.
The truth is, whether we like it or not, we are responsible for our behavior. If someone pulls out in front of me...I choose my response. The same is true for you.
The quote on the next screen is one Dr. Henry, Goddard's superintendent, reads to all staff members at every meeting we go together. Even adults need to be reminded we are in control of our own attitudes.
