Plans for Reconstruction
Reconstruction lasted from 1865-1877 and went through many different highs and lows and with different leaders in charge. There were FOUR different plans for Reconstruction:
President Abraham Lincoln's Plan
Congress (Radical Republicans) Plan
President Andrew Johnson's Plan
President Ulysses S. Grant's Plan
Some of these plans existed at the same time and caused conflict between the President and Congress
