The story.

• Sally keeps asking Linus to be her Valentine.

• Linus wants Sally to leave him alone.

• Sally says that if he answers her question correctly, then she will leave him alone (for a day).

The question.

• 2 lb 6 oz= _ oz?

The solution

• Linus knows there are 16 ounces in 1 pound.

• 2 lb= 2x16 = 32 oz

• 2 lb 6 oz= 32 oz and 6 oz= 32+6= 38 oz

• "2 lbs 6 oz is 38 oz!"

• CORRECT!

• Sally has to leave Linus alone :(
