What are Decimals?
A decimal is a way of writing a number that is not a whole number.
Decimal numbers are in between two consecutive whole numbers. For example, 3,7 is in between the numbers 3 and 4 . It is more than 3 , but less than 4 .

Decimals are like fractions. They are in between whole numbers.
Between two whole numbers is an infinite number of decimals and also fractions.
