1. write your argument in a proper way

2. record a video detailing your argument

Open Ended

University should not monitor students' attendance. Do you agree? Why?

How to properly outline your argument:

• State your stance- Agree/Disagree

• State the reason for your stance

• Give examples- 2 would be optimum

Example

• I agree that university should not monitor students' attendance. [STANCE]

• This is because they are already adult and as such, need no supervision. [REASON]

• For instance, they already can legally drive, something that is huge. [EXAMPLE]

• Moreover, they are mature enough to know the consequence of not attending classes. [EXAMPLE]
