How do we solve the problem of getting the cost of a chain?

Breaking down the problem into its parts

The parts are

- the different colour beads

- the string

We then determine the cost of each individual component

Decomposition result

Each section is given a cost and the total cost of the chain or item is derived.

All the maps together represent one area. Why do you think there are so many different maps of the same area?
