Modal Verbs? What are they?

Modal Verbs are used before the infinitive form of other verbs to indicate ideas related to certainty, advice, permission, ability, or obligation.

​

They do not take -s in the third person singular form and the verbs following them must be in the base form.

POSSIBILITY

We use: can, could, may, and might.

1. He CAN be annoying sometimes.
